Relevant Music Publishing
The ideal for alternative wind bands,
as promoted by the Bandemonium project, is that groups develop their
own repertoire, sound and performance aesthetic.
This has been the (non-) tradition, and is implicit in the
‘alternative’ aspect of our groups.
It’s also true that in many cases people involved in a band,
either existing or starting up, simply don’t have the time or the
resources to build their own repertoires. In the interests of promoting alternatives
in community wind and percussion ensembles Relevant Music Publishing
provides a catalogue of easy to challenging, effective arrangements
of folk and pop music and original compositions.
Relevant Music Publishing is also the only known source for
arrangements of music from the exciting and little known world of
World Band Music – with selections from the band traditions of Serbia,
India, Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Boliva, Macedonia, New Orleans
and more. |
